Functional Training Studio – NEW FOR 2018!

Every Sunday we will now be opening up our Studio space for all to use – with punchbags, battle ropes, kettlebells and more. Non-members are very welcome for a fee of £5.50 per session.  


Functional Training

Using a combination of bodyweight exercises and equipment to build total body power and strength – including ladder runs, battle ropes and kettle bells. If you want a varied exercise routine then this is your class!  


Young at Heart

A lower intensity but very effective overall body workout incorporating both strength and cardiovascular exercises – great for improving and maintaining overall fitness.  


Body Blitz 

An energetic whole body workout designed to “blitz” away those tough areas using your own body weight.  Tightening and toning problem areas while improving muscular strength and endurance.  


TRX

Suspension training is the ultimate full body workout – developing strength, balance, flexibility and core stability all at the same time using only one piece of equipment!  


Spin

A high energy, high intensity and high calorie-burning indoor cycling cardio workout. A favourite of those wanting to improve fitness and an effective low impact class to tone muscle  


LBT

A class devoted entirely to toning those lower body problem areas – legs, bums and tums! Suitable for all abilities and a firm favourite in the club.  


Zumba

A fun and energetic salsa based dance class sure to bring laughs as well as great fitness results!  


Pound

The world’s first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energising and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Using Ripstix (lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercise) Pound transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out, Designed for all fitness levels, Pound provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energised, improving your health and rocking out!”



Tabata

a high-intensity interval training workout, designed to work the whole body! A 30 minute blast to really make the most of your time in the gym and to ensure you leave happy, fitter and sweaty!.


Core30

30 minutes designed to test, push and strengthen your core. Concentrated core training can help avoid injuries and improve your overall strength and training technique – as well as helping to sculpt, tone and increase power.


Boogie Bounce Xtreme

Our brand new complete exercise class done on a mini trampoline with a safety bar, exclusive to Club Energy Retford! Choreographed to pumping music it is an extremely effective cardio session as well as a powerful bums, tums and thigh toner.

Please note that these classes are for members only however classes are also available to book for non-members through the Boogie Bounce Xtreme Retford Facebook page.


Disco Spin

All the intensity of a Spin class but with added fun! A high energy cardio workout with a party atmosphere. ( Please note that we use flashing lights in this class).


H.I.T

A high intensity interval training class designed to get your heart rate up, reach optimum calorie burning levels and transform your physique – targeting all areas of the body


Bootcamp

Our new bootcamp style workout will test your body with new training techniques – including tyre flipping and battle ropes, all whilst enjoying the great outdoors! Perfect for those wanting a morning workout to clear out the cobwebs or those wanting some fresh air with their workout.


Body Bar

A barbell class that will strengthen your entire body! Challenging all major muscle groups and sure to get the heart pumping, this class will help test and tone your whole body.


Fitstep

Aerobics is back in a big way! Fitstep is an aerobics class incorporating the step box. A great all over leg toner and cardio session to get the heart pumping. No co-ordination necessary!.


Yoga

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost both physical and mental well-being. All abilities and levels of experience are very welcome!.
